Neighbourhood Meeting

Thursday, December 4, 2008 at 7:00 PM

Location: Oddfellows Hall, 520 Prideaux Street

NEW! Membership: Neighbours and supporters are asked to support the newly formed society by becoming a member.  Memberships are only $5 per year, which gives you voting rights at AGMs as well as extraordinary items of business, and officially ensures that the group represents you and other members — which is a critical part of successfully working with other parties.  The fee goes to support the Society status, which will help attain funding for neighbourhood projects in the future.  You can become a member by simply attending a monthly meeting, paying the annual fee, and giving your name and contact information.

As always, all neighbours are most welcome.

Residents have probabaly noticed all of the building going on at the base of Nob Hill Park. Its the new Oak Tree Manor building, oak tree and all!

Neighbours of Nob Hill

The Neighbours of Nob Hill is a registered society in the City of Nanaimo, but more importantly than that we are an open community group who’s focus is on improving the quality of life for the residents of Nob Hill & creating a defined sense of community for everyone lucky enough to live in this hidden gem within the Old City.

The neighbourhood of Nob Hill is located completely within the Old City in Downtown Nanaimo. Our community is unnofically contained within the loosely defined borders of Albert Street in the North, Old Victoria Road in the South, Kennedy Street in the West and Victoria Crescent in the East. Nob Hill Park Festivals (The most beautiful park in the city in our opinion)

Our community group meets on the first Thursday of every month at the Odd Fellows Hall on Prideaux Street. If you are interested in getting involved with our community group just show up at a meeting or message us through the website. We are ALWAYS looking for new members and you dont even have to live in Nob Hill or the Old City to attend. You just need to have a general appreciation for this great neighbourhood!
